Saturday Night; getting ready for church

Today, I didn't want to spend my money on public transport so I decided to stay at home and revise. I have practically spent the whole day in bed doing work, going on Facebook and Twitter (one of my biggest time wasters!) and eating junk food. Anyway, I did finish my work and due to the fact that I am awake, I thought it would be a good idea to start my blog :) 

I am really looking forward to church tomorrow especially the praise and worship (oh yeah, I am in the choir and you're looking at your youngest secretary of the choir ;)). The practice for the praise and worship got me really excited. Firstly because they are old songs that we haven't sung in a while, the instruments and the lyrics of the songs are so powerful to me: Strength will rise, Lord you're awesome and Mighty is our God. I still need to learn the lyrics of strength will rise seeing that you can't always rely on the media department to display the lyrics :(. I also need to iron my shirt but I doubt I'll be doing that tonight- being lazy, procrastinating. Seeing that it has been brought to my attention, I will now have to do it tonight. 
Why God? 
God replies: because you don't wake up early enough in the morning and always rush.

On Sunday mornings, running straight to my church's toilet to brush my hair and sometimes do my make-up has become a routine for me because I always run out of time to do it at home. Wake up earlier Omotola!  

I do love my relationship with God. When he tells me to do things I really don't want to do, I sometimes roll my eyes at him, grumble and sign loudly- you know, things you would do to people/friends. He's more or less my best friend.
